Chainlink, UBS, and DigiFT are piloting a blockchain-based system in Hong Kong to automate tokenized fund distribution, settlement, and management, aiming to reduce manual errors. The project, part of Hong Kong’s Cyberport sandbox, uses smart contracts and Chainlink’s Digital Transfer Agent to process subscription and redemption requests on-chain, following Swiss CMTA token standards. Rising interest in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization in 2025 has pushed institutional adoption, with tokenized funds growing 47% over 30 days and the overall market cap reaching $66 billion.
