What Is PumpBTC?

PumpBTC serves as a liquid staking solution for Babylon. It aims to help BTC holders maximize yields through Babylon’s liquid staking — essentially rebuilding WBTC with native yield.

How to Mint pumpBTC on the Ethereum Mainnet

Step 1: Navigate to the PumpBTC website and click on the Connect Wallet button in the upper right corner. Then, click on Bybit Wallet to connect.



Step 2: Click on the Ethereum drop-down menu and you’ll see the BTC assets supported by PumpBTC. Currently, it supports WBTC/FTBC on Ethereum, BTCB on BSC Chain and FBTC on Mantle. Select the network with which you want to deposit. 



To illustrate, we’ll use WBTC as an example.



Step 3: Enter the amount you want to stake, and click on the Stake button.



Step 4: After clicking on Stake, a pop-up window will appear for you to confirm the transaction. Click on Next, followed by Approve to confirm the transaction.



Step 5: After you complete Approve signature, the page will automatically proceed to the next step of the staking transaction. Click on Confirm to finalize the transaction.



Step 6: When the following pop-up window appears on your page, it means that your stake was successful — and you’ll receive pumpBTC in return.
