About Creditcoin (CTC)
What Is Creditcoin (CTC)?
Creditcoin was launched in May 2019 by a global team of experts based in Estonia, Canada, Nigeria, the U.S. and South Korea. The platform touts itself as a "borderless credit investment network" that helps unbanked people in emerging markets gain access to credit. Credit is an important prerequisite for accessing everyday services in fields such as healthcare and education.
CTC, Creditcoin's native token, is used for utility purposes.
CTC Price
As of this writing (Nov. 23, 2022), CTC is priced at $0.34 per token — a far cry from its all-time high (ATH) of over $8.67. Amid a struggling bear market, the CTC token has fared poorly. So far, Creditcoin has partnered with platforms such as TRON, Stacks and Polygon Technology, with more exciting partnerships on the way. CTC is available for trading on various exchanges such as Bybit, Upbit and Kucoin. As more users join and start using the Creditcoin network, the value of CTC will undoubtedly grow.
What Is CTC Used For?
CTC gives users access to the Creditcoin network and can be used to pay transaction fees. The token is also valuable for adding ask orders into the loan market of Creditcoin's ecosystem.
According to the project’s white paper, Creditcoin also offers an ERC20 token called G-CRE, which acts as the platform's vesting and trading token. G-CRE can be swapped for CTC in a one-way exchange. While CTC is designed as the primary utility token of the Creditcoin project, G-CRE can be perceived as a complementary token that helps reduce CTC's volatility.
