Launched in 2022, LooksRare is a decentralized NFT marketplace that rewards NFT collectors, creators and traders. LooksRare is governed fully by its community. NFT enthusiasts on LooksRare can safely and securely earn rewards and buy, sell or trade their assets.
LooksRare is powered by the LOOKS token, an ERC20 token that’s used to reward users for their contributions to the LooksRare ecosystem. The LOOKS token is currently trading on several major exchanges, including Bybit, OKX and Huobi.

LOOKS hit its peak value or all-time high (ATH) of $7.10 on Jan. 10, 2022. Following LooksRare’s announcement of a built-in NFT aggregator on Nov. 5, 2022, LOOKS’ price saw a slight, albeit short-lived, increase. From Nov. 9–10, 2022, the token’s price fell nearly 30%, from $0.17 to $0.12, currently its lowest value since its inception. Many cryptocurrencies in the market have been negatively impacted by the recent FTX saga, and LOOKS is among them.

As LooksRare’s native token, LOOKS can be used to buy, sell and trade NFTs on the LooksRare NFT Marketplace, and to reward users for their contributions to the ecosystem.

According to CoinGecko, LOOKS is currently priced at $0.118. The token has a circulating supply of 545 million tokens and a total supply of 768 million. The distribution schedule of LOOKS is designed to prioritize the LooksRare community.
Three-quarters of LOOKS’ total supply was set for distribution. Of this, 12% was dedicated to airdrops, and about 18% was set aside for staking rewards, with trading rewards making up the remaining bulk at 44% of the total distributed.
Of the remaining 25%, 1.7% went to the platform's liquidity management, 10% to the platform's treasury and 3.3% to another strategic sale. LooksRare’s founding team received the final 10% of the tokens.
Who Is the Founder of LooksRare?
LooksRare's founders go by the pseudonymous account names of “Guts” and “Zodd.” According to the project's website, a total of 34 team members are currently on board. As with LooksRare’s founders, none of them have revealed their real-life identities.
